Rightsizing Vs. Downsizing. Why is it important to know the difference and what options you have!

Downsizing is something most people do not feel comfortable talking about. Some see it as going backward from what they have worked so hard to achieve. The loss of high-end finishes and square footage keeps a lot of homeowners from making the decision to downsize to a smaller place. So now is why I want to introduce to you the appropriate term of Rightsizing. Right-sizing is the pursuit of making the most out of every square foot to make sure that you use the spaces that you love and enjoy. At some point in every homeowner’s lifetime, when they get to an age of limited mobility, they will assess the quality of living in their home or large estate. But for homeowners who have owned their home for decades, with thousands of dollars invested in bringing the home to the level of luxury they want, right-sizing to a smaller home or a condominium is usually out of the books. This is because most don’t realize that there are options for high-end luxury homeowners to right-size into a luxury condominium without sacrificing some of the luxuries they have enjoyed for years.

Today we will assess some different options that homeowners who have been thinking about rightsizing should consider!

Let’s talk about some of the Luxury Condominiums in the District of Columbia that would keep the level of luxury right-sizers wish to keep.
